FCREA awards a $1500 scholarship to one graduating senior from a Fayette County Public School System high school who is planning on entering the field of education. Graduating seniors from Fayette County High School, McIntosh High School, Sandy Creek High School, Starrs Mill High School, and Whitewater High School may apply for the scholarship.

FCREA's Scholarship committee provides scholarship applications to the high school counselors for distribution to interested students.

FCREA awards a $500 scholarship to any Fayette County Public School System para-professional who is pursuing a teaching degree.
