Awards and Recognitions

FCREA awards a $1,500 scholarship to one graduating senior from a Fayette County Public School System high school planning to enter the field of education. 

FCREA also awards a $500 scholarship to a Fayette County para-professional pursuing a degree in education.

Academic awards are presented to an outstanding 8th grade student in each of the Fayette County Middle Schools. Students are awarded with a plaque and a $25 gift card at their schools awards program.

FCREA is also taking part in National Signing Day for Educators.  Just like in athletics, participating Fayette County high schools had a signing day for seniors majoring in Education in college.
